Great article! So much depth to unpack. I do wonder if Copilot is actually accelerating Shadow AI. The other tools are so much more capable. Microsoft are catching up, but they still have some way to travel.
Indeed. The thing is, at work I can only use Copilot. So I’m kinda locked in there, as are many folks in corporate jobs, particularly bigger orgs where the Enterprise stack is MS365. Which, from experience, is a lot of them! Microsoft have a giant moat and have vast enterprise data, if Copilot improves they will quickly become a serious player.
Yeah I hear that a lot of people use Copilot for the same reason. Yes I think it would be a serious player if they did improve! Apologies for the late reply, not sure how I'm just seeing this

Thanks Oliver! I haven’t played around much with Copilot to be honest but I can imagine they are well behind ChatGPT and Claude.
